Maxenzi needed a Birthday card and she really didn't love anything in my stash...she asked if I could make something a little more fun for one of her friends. So I dug into my stash of Jillibean Soup's Birthday Bisque and some SRM Stickers.
Here is what I came up with...
Super fun, I love the paper curls...I hope her friend loves it!

Hoping everyone had a safe and relaxing Memorial Day Weekend. We really didn't do much at all, which left me some free time to scrap and create. I have just a simple and fun page to share with you today with EP's Independence Day Mini collection, this was created for The Scrapbooking Studio. I was so inspired by the simplicity of this layout that I had to lift it, you see it here. Such a great page...sometimes simple is the way to go.
I love this and thank you Mary for sharing this photo with me.
Happy Friday! I am back today with a Nautical Box Card from Lori Whitlock. I am finishing up my stash of Simple Stories Summer Paradise and have been wanting to try this sweet little box card out with this collection. It's perfect and these are so easy to make, plus they fold flat and fit into an A2 envelope to mail!
I added a couple of extra clouds in the background and used the Summer Paradise stickers for the anchor and the sentiment!
Playing along with this month's challenge over at the SRM Sticker Challenge Blog. This month's challenge is anything to do with Birthdays. I had some super fun new We R Memory Keepers paper from The Scrapbooking Studio and the perfect SRM stickers to play along. I love all of the new shaker embellishments from
Here is the card I created for our theme this month...a fun graduation mortar board card. It was simple to create, gotta love that. I used Samantha's cd or card wrap file and cut it the size it appears on your mat. I used Bazzill Dotted Swiss Pepper for the mortar board. I then cut a white square to fit inside and cut Samantha's Oh Happy Day file in the Pepper Dotted Swiss for my sentiment. I had to reduce the size to fit the inside of the card. Yep, told you it was super simple but I love the look of this card..clean and simple! Finish with a button in your Graduate's school color and a tassel!

Sharing a card that I created for Mother's Day with the gorgeous Baggage Claim collection and a little help from my Silhouette Cameo. I used a cut file from Lori Whitlock, you can find the file here. The only thing I did differently with the cut file, was I add another layer behind each flower and a three more leaf cuts. After I cut all the pieces, I inked each and every piece with a coordinating PowderPuff Ink. I love the soft shadowing effect that this inks give. The Coral and Caribbean Blue are my favorites. After I inked all the pieces, I just layered the flower pieces and added a brad. Once I had the leaves and flowers added, I curled some of the flower pieces with a pencil...just to give them a bit more body!
The flowers pull out of the pot and you can add your sentiment to this piece. I trimmed down a vellum quote from an Itty Bitty Quote box and adhered it with a glue dot hidden by that little heart.
The quote reads:
Thanks goodness it's the weekend...it's been a very long week. So thankful that it's over and now on to a quiet weekend at home!
I had time to play this week with another great sketch from Christine Meyer. You can find her blog here and her Facebook page here.
I changed it up just a bit, that is the sign of great sketch for me....just a jumping point. I created a pie chart for my circle and then only used one photo and a 4x6 piece for Simple Stories Summer Paradise that I got from The Scrapbooking Studio. Such a fun mini line! Thanks Casey for sharing this amazing photo with me! What a great shot!
So glad that you hopped by and joined us today for the Fancy Pants National Scrapbook Day Celebration. You should have arrived here from Laurel Seabrook's blog. I created a layout with the adorable, fun Be Different collection. The layout features the most adorable little guy....could he be any cuter?!?! Thank you Kate for sharing him with me!
Lots of layering with the amazing embellishments in the collection. I never ever seem to use those little alphabets included in the sticker sheet. So I decided to use them for a fun layering piece.
This is one of the most fun collections I have ever worked with...it is just perfect for creating and capturing precious memories like this little guy's 1st birthday!
